Aurélie Urvois

Aurélie Urvois is a Partner at La Boétie, where she focuses on French and international tax law.

She advises corporate groups, listed and private companies, executives, entrepreneurs and families on complex tax matters, both in an advisory capacity and in tax litigation.

Aurélie regularly advises clients on private wealth taxation, particularly in an international context, including the structuring and transfer of private and business assets, French real estate wealth tax (IFI) matters, and tax issues in relation to relocations to or from France.

A significant part of her practice is also dedicated to tax audits and disputes, assisting clients throughout both the pre-litigation phase (including tax audits, personal tax examinations, appeals against reassessment notices, searches by tax authorities) and litigation before the French administrative and judicial courts, as well as European courts.

Aurélie is also recognised by clients and peers for her sector-specific expertise in energy, particularly in relation to photovoltaic projects and the French Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) scheme, as well as in insurance, advising on matters such as technical provisions and insurance premium tax.

Before co-founding La Boétie, Aurélie practised for nearly ten years at Cazals Manzo Pichot Saint Quentin. She was also seconded for several months to the tax team of the New York law firm Seward & Kissel LLP.
